This weekend I'll be at FreeCon, which (from what I can tell) is an Anime convention.
I don't know much about the animes (should I have printed my books backwards…or something?), but if you do, it seems like they're going to have great things for you (Karaoke, Cosplay stuff, Anime art jamz, etc.).
Honestly, there's so many different things listed on the website I'm having a hard time believing it's actually going to go down, but I'll be there to see it with my own eyes! D&D? An Adventure Time panel? The voice actor behind Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers? Shit, I'm sold.
If you do wanna stop by, I'll be in Artist Alley at the Bauhaus Art Exhibit (Union 311E) on Friday (6-10pm) and Saturday (12-10pm).

Oh, hi, I didn't see you there. I'm comics' Lee Bretschneider, and wanted to let you know I'll be at MegaCon in Orlando on February 17th, 18th, and 19th with fellow nobody Justin Peterson (Table Blue 11). We'll have this image that I drew available as a print for your office wall, home wall, or car ceiling. We'll also have many more exciting prints and comics for sale.Plus, we'll be checking in with Tara and Paul Abbamondi, a comic-making couple from New Jersey who are known to have a few tricks up their sleeves! Meathaus, my favorite art blog, is reppin' some of my new stuff.
Has Anyone Ever Told You That You Look Like Buddy Holly? is my new sketch zine. My printer is all busted up so it's an extremely limited run, currently. Once that's fixed it'll be available to order at the store.

In the meantime, I highly recommend any of the Go For the Gold books that Meathaus publishes. They are all chock full of awesomeness, featuring Brandon Graham, Jonny Negron, Pendleton Ward, HARVEYJAMES, James Jean, and others, including Chris McD, who throws it all together.

Also, have you heard that there is a kickstarter for Very Near Mint Vol. 2? It's true that the goal has already been hit, but anything you can contribute will still help greatly. Plus, you're probably going to get the book early. Boo yeah.
